If just one well placed member of the scientific community were to endorse the rationale for an eschatological immaterialism; this might serve as the triggering event. But this is an unlikely event without the influence of the stargate/grail. That would be the necessary tangible edge for the immaterialism. Perhaps the grail entity could play just an indirect role. The expanding rumors of its existence would merely serve to leaven the metaphysical discussion. This is an exercise in minimalism that respects the prime directive of non-interference taken in an eschatological context. The intellectual and phenomenal buttons have to be pushed at the same time.

One problem is that the grail phenomena are likely to distract from the important conceptual preparation. The more tangible component must be kept in the background until our thinking is better adjusted. A strong conceptual linkage between the abstract and concrete aspects of the new paradigm must be given priority. But there would also have to be adequate proof of the connection. Working out and implementing the logistics of the disclosure are the last critical step. The scientific community is the target of opportunity in this process. The secrecy of the grail and the naivete of the scientists will have to be penetrated simultaneously. We need to kill the two birds with one stone. Finding that stone is the task at hand. It is the grail stone but once removed.

The grail is impersonal, but it has been traditionally and logically the shadow of the christ event. It is the clandestine cosmic link and the key to the dénouement. It is the christian complement to the arc. The stargate is the metaphysical anchor for the secular side of western culture, especially in the latter days. The linkage to the x-event may only be implicit, but the linkage to the eschaton is explicit. It is the gold of the new covenant at the end of the arc of the old covenant. It is the opening that seals the future. Who could believe this without proof? Can the logic be made sufficiently impeccable?

The circumstantial evidence for the stargate will continue to mount. We see it now in the popular culture, and in fringe physics. It should become more visible in underground culture, but this is still far from the halls of academe. Some awareness would be almost inevitable with the Jasons, but how to penetrate it? Indirect exposure? What is its technology? What is its physical signature? What anomalies does it solve?
