The metaphysics of the story
Let us revisit the primordial experiential chaos. This chaos contains the potential of all-possible experience and Experiencers. Using the story motif strengthens this concept. If we add relationalism as a primitive element, then the degree of reality depends on the relatedness of the experiencing as perhaps measured by its embedding in a narrative.
Various considerations ensure the existence of only one chaos, out of which many stories emerge in some metatemporal sense. But also there will necessarily emerge metanarratives that will compete for the allegiance of the characters. By the identity of indiscernibles, the same subplots and characters will reappear in many stories. There may then be a natural impetus toward a monotheistic cosmology that is the common center of various recursive loops.
We characters are the actors and audience participating in the competition of the Metanarrators. The competition had come down to just a few narratives, each negatively describing the other, until in the christ-event a 'new' narrator usurped the stage in a move that is allegedly legitimated in a second coming.
