In other postings here I have discussed the lack of fellow travelers on the Aquarium path. Despite the continued rapid expansion of the Internet, the philosophical speculations posted here remain unique.
It is possible that the gestalt switch from materialism to immaterialism will proceed gradually and spontaneously until it is generally recognized as an anticlimactic fait accompli. If this is the case then there will be very little that any individual or small group could do to expedite the process. On the other hand, the process might be amenable to some form of leveraging by one or more individuals. A proselyte must always remain open to such a possibility.
I continue to be open to the possibility that some sequestered information could serve as a point of political leverage, but there is little more that I can do to pursue that possibility. The next most likely point of leverage is to be found in the intellectual arena where philosophical speculations are supposed to be given due consideration.
There has been a recent upsurge of speculation surrounding
the traditional mind/body problem. This speculation is still far
removed from the immaterialist eschatology that I advocate, but it is a
substantial step in that direction. It does appear that as the problems
with materialism and dualism are seen to be more intractable there is an
increased willingness to reassess the practicability of immaterialism.
I have not yet come up with a presentation of my ideas that might be expected
appeal to the few individuals involved in that aspect of the discussion.
