After many millennia Planet Earth has completed its mission. Humanity is to be harvested and the Earth is to be regenerated. Within the next very few generations, this planet will be essentially depopulated.

Just within the last couple of decades, the cosmos has reestablished a 'permanent' link with us. There is now an infrastructure of clandestine underground dimensional doorways, serving primarily as egress. Death, of course, will continue to provide an alternative exit route. The choice will be ours.

Our fate will gradually become known and accepted. The final holdouts will probably have to be forcibly ejected. The Earth is now an officially designated cosmic refugee camp. We will be resettled off-world.

Our optimal strategy is to prolong the harvest for a century or so. This can be accomplished if we act in a reasonably intelligent manner. The key to this accomplishment is the proper dissemination of this information. The optimal scenario for this dissemination will be the Second Coming. The planetary egress will be overseen by the infrastructure attendant to this 'second coming.' For the sake of argument, I can be that one. So could you, but we will have to decide, if the decision has not already been made.
