Many people have experienced relatively elaborate dream plots logically leading up to an awakening event that turns out to have been generated by a real event external to the dreamer. If one rules out the ad hoc precognitive explanation, one is left with the possibility that dreams may only be concocted awakening 'memories,' and not actual sleep experiences.

Here then is my modest proposal. Human history is a concocted eschaton based memory. This is teleology or final causation with a vengeance. This is the psychic inversion of the Big Bang cosmology. Let us see what this does to the rest of our cosmology.

The first thing out the window is time, which is now a figment within an illusion. What does this do to free will? We humans are secondary dreamers. Will fill our microcosmic details into the macrocosmic plot. Our lives come with predefined boundaries and conditions; within and around which we individually and collectively arrange the 'furniture.' Most of that transactional/creative work may actually be carried out in our dream dreams. Our 'waking' experience is then like reading the galleys.

This stratagem is one way to avoid the paradoxes of time travel. There is no time so there can be no time travel. Also there can be no miracles in the ordinary sense. We think of miracles as being divine intercessions into the normal flow of events. In a dream cosmogony, the 'miracles' would have to be present at the 'start,' along with the main plot items.

Miracles can however become the pegs upon which history is hung. Another analogy would be that miracles are the pieces of sand around which the cosmic oyster manufactures its pearl that is our history. On this premise, the christ or x-event was not a reenactment of some Cosmo-mythic sacrifice. It was that sacrifice per se. The x-event is the crux of our entire history, and the Alpha & Omega events play a logically secondary role. The omega or eschaton retains logistical supremacy, but the x-event maintains its genetic dominance. It is the cosmic seed.

History is a suspension bridge, with the x-event being the primary suspension point over the abyss. The A & O are the anchor points. The great pyramid is almost literally the Alpha anchor. It, along with the rest of the megalithic culture for which it was the keystone, defined an astro-geodetic grid that became our heaven and earth. For the omega point the Internet takes the place of the megalithic grid, from which our new heavens and earths can be launched from cyberspace into psychic space.
